What do I need to do?
Packaging research
As you know, you will be designing and making Greek salads this term in DT. As part of this work you will also need to design your own packaging.
In preparation for this, we would like you to research different types of food packaging. This will give you inspiration for your own designs.
You may record your findings in any way you like:
- Table
- Mood board (no larger than A4)
- Annotated diagrams
Things you might like to research:
- Packaging materials
- Information provided on the packaging
- Recyclability
- Fonts/colours that link with the product
- Key information i.e. food name, description, nutritional information etc.
Please bring your work in ready to share with Mrs Bailiff and Mrs Carter on Tuesday 14th January
We have also started our new spelling programme in Year 4 and for this week, I would like you to learn the following Speed Spell words. The learning focus was using the prefix mis, un, in and dis.
We will have a test on these words on Thursday of next week.
